Yesterday I took off from Chicago around 3:00 pm and landed about 11:30 pm my time, but 9:30 am Florence time. Tired but didn't sleep, took today to get to know the city a bit, walked around the Duomo, walked up a few steps to the San Miniato el Monte and sketched with Steve's students, then had some Gilato at Vivoli.
