In small groups please discuss the following questions. Take notes on important points made and be prepared to report to the class your findings.

• Think back to when you were a little tike watching cartoons on Saturday mornings. How has animation changed since then?
• Thinking broadly – other than entertainment, what are some uses or benefits of animation or motion graphics?
• As most of us are pursuing a career in design, why would a designer need to have a sensitivity to motion or the ability to animate?
